Optoplex to Announce DQPSK Demodulator in OFC/NFOEC 2008
Date : 02/11/2008

Optoplex Corporation, a leading supplier of innovative fiber-optic components for the next-generation communication systems, will showcase its new, fully integrated DQPSK demodulator for the 40-Gb/s data-rate systems during Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) in San Diego, CA, February 26-28, 2008 at Booth# 2642.

Optoplex's DQPSK demodulator is based on free-space optical technology, featuring low polarization-dependent frequency shift (PDFS), and compact size. DQPSK demodulators can be customized for various time delays to meet various requirements from system design. This advanced product will provide communication system and subsystem providers the key components for building the fiber-optic networks capable of transmitting signals of 40 Gb/s and beyond.

Optoplex provides customized solutions to telecom network equipment and testing instrument providers for wavelength routing and signal conditioning. Current product families include DPSK demodulator/Delay line interferometer (DLI), DQPSK demodulator, 90-degree optical hybrid, Optical interleaver, Tunable optical filter / Reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM), Optical performance monitor (OPM) / Optical channel monitor (OCM).
