JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager
Region of Sales: North America

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
The Regional Sales Manager is the primary liaison between the customers (in that geographic region) and the internal teams responsible for Product Line Management, Development, and Operations. The Regional Sales Manager leads the account team that supports current business, and drives to develop and attain new business. The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all sales activities with customers within geographic region.
- Develop and execute account plans consistent with product lines and corporate strategies.
- Build strong relationships with customers, which is strategic beneficial to Optoplex and help to grow the regional business.
- Lead and execute all commercial responses to customer product inquiries, from initial RFI to full completion of RFQ processes.
- Perform sales analysis on customers, competition and end users.
- Provide the company with revenue forecast for customers within the area
- Prospect and bring in new customers within territory; establishing new relationships from initial product discussion through closure.
- Negotiate supply contracts, help resolve quality and warranty issues and insure both customers and Optoplex meet their commitments.
- Insure clear, concise and effective communications between customers and Optoplex team.
- Be an integral part of and support the whole sales team within the company.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in a technical discipline (optics, physics or engineering preferred) is required. An MS is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of account management, sales, or business development experience in telecommunication and/or optics industries required
- Previous experience selling into North American customers is required
- Ability to fluently speak English
- Experience working in multi-site and multi-culture environments a plus
- Must have significant experience in strategic account development and channel sales
- Must be willing to travel extensively
- Excellent phone, written, and verbal communications skills

RF Integration and Test Engineer
Job Responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
• Design and develop device integration processes for integrated receivers for 40G and 100G communication
• Establish test methods for new product lines and analyze current test methodologies, driving change to achieve ever better product quality and usability
• Develop test plans, test cases, test environments, scripts and result summaries for multiple concurrent projects.
• Characterizes device DC and RF performance over temperature.
• Collaborate with developers to improve capabilities and diagnose problems
• Utilize RF test equipment such as a Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers as part of design verification and qualification.
