1, 2003 - Dr. Chiayu Ai, Vice
President of Engineering for Optoplex Corporation, has
been elected as a 2003 SPIE Fellow. Each year, SPIE (the
International Society for Optical Engineering) recognizes
distinguished individuals in the field of optics and opto-electronics
through its Fellows program. Dr. Ai's contributions to
the field include innovative developments in interferometric
optical testing. Optoplex's President and CEO, Mr. Jim
C. Sha is quoted as saying "Dr. Ai's contributions
to the optical field and his recognition by SPIE is a
great accomplishment for which we at Optoplex Corporation
